Wadokai Southwest's Affiliation
Wadokai Southwest is part of British Wadokai Karate (BWK), which has foundations established in 1976. Until recently the BWK was named Domei Kokusai Wadokai (DKW).
British Wadokai is also a member of the English Karate Federation (EKF) - the National Governing Body for Karate in England.
As a member of a Wadokai Southwest club you are automatically affiliated to British Wadokai and the EKF. This provides the opportunity to attend specialist training courses held by highly respected instructors and enter many competitions if you wish to compete.
For the most able and committed there is the chance to join the British Wadokai Kata and Kumite squads and compete nationally. Ultimately, for the very best from the age of 13 you can train with the EKF and maybe select to compete internationally.
